RAINY DAY
A problem I see why many individuals always seem to attract unfavorable conditions is because they are always planning for the rainy day. They are always preparing for a time of need or trouble. They live with this idea in their mind that they know a rainy day will come sooner or later. We have been indoctrinated into waiting for the rainy day. I'm sure we have heard or seen our parents putting something aside, as in money, for a future time in need. I am not saying that you should not save some money or abolish your savings account. But, you should think carefully about the power of your thoughts with regard to what you are doing. Instead of saving money from a position of lack, start saving money from a position of abundance. If you start from a position of abundance your whole attitude is converted into gratefulness. Say to yourself how grateful you are that you do not need the money that you decided to put away. How thankful you are that your mind, through your thoughts have made this process of saving some money possible. Say to yourself that you have everything that you desire because of this wonderful opportunity of putting money away. When you do this from a perspective of gratefulness and abundance, you convince your subconscious mind of it and then the flood gates of abundance are opened. That is what is meant in the bible when it states, " Believe that ye receive it, and ye shall have it." Mark 11:24. What happens instead is that many individuals plan for a rainy day and guess what? They attract rain. Rain in the form of negative circumstances.
Remember that your thoughts are all powerful. It will create the things you constantly think about. Your thoughts do not differentiate between good or bad. You thoughts don't have thoughts of their own to separate the good ones from the bad ones. Your thoughts just create. Please don't panic if you periodically think of an unpleasant thought, thinking then that you are doomed. We are all created with free will and eventually we have undesirable thoughts. But, the purpose of this article is to alert you to when you have bad thoughts, to catch yourself and change your thoughts. It really is that simple. When I have a bad thought that comes into my mind, I immediately change it to a happy, pleasant thought. I think about places that I have vacationed with my family or my beloved New York City. If an undesirable thought is stubborn and does not want to be evicted from my mind, I play music if I am driving or if I'm out and about I'll hum a song to myself. Bad things that are attracted to us through mind is just the sum of our persistent bad thoughts that we allow refuge in our minds. We have the power to change our life with the power that we all possess with our minds. Bad things really don't exist. Universal mind, of which we are all part of, did not create the bad conditions. We created it through the power that we gave it by thinking about it. I know that it sounds crazy to think that we can create any conditions that we please. So, how about trying it? What do you have to loose? Starting today, for just 7 days, think about positive thoughts. Think about something that you want to change in your life. Believe that you truly have the power to change whatever it is you want to change. See what happens! My hope is to make a positive impact on your life. One thought at a time.
