NEVER GROW UP
Remember back in time when we behaved in a way that was not suitable to a parent or adult and they would say to you "Grow UP!!" Well, I am here to tell you that maybe that was not wise advise. I understand what they were alluding to. That one day we will get older and get a real job and in some cases support a family. But, I believe you can accomplish the aforementioned rules that society has placed upon us but still never grow up in a spiritual sense. Growing up to me has a negative connotation. Growing up is supposed to tell us that we are established members of society. That we have followed all the rules that were imposed upon us. That we are part of a herd. Followers of a preconceived plan. If that is what growing up means, please count me out!
There is no problem with living your life as a dependent. I am not saying dependent on your parents, family or government. I am referring to a spiritual dependency. A dependency on your source. You see, we were all created from the same source regardless of what you call it. We came from that source and we will one day go back to that source. Think about it, when we were in our mother's womb, all our needs were taken care of. This thing that I call source took care of us. The fetus had no worries. It was all nature doing the work. I am not downplaying the roll of a mother because obviously we would not be here if it was not for our mothers. But, in a spiritual way, things came out the way they were supposed to.
This child once born, has absolutely no fears. They pull themselves up when they are ready and start walking. If they fall and bumped their head, they would probably get up and try again. It is only when a parent or adult in the room run frantically towards them to help them with a concerned look on their face that the infant starts to lose it and cry uncontrollably. We put all these fears and subsequent limitations on our children as they "grow up." If we only trust in the source, everything would be better than fine. In fact, it would be perfect. Just like nature.
Can you imagine living a life understanding that we were all created from a source that only wants what is best for us? A source that will provide for us if we let it. As we get older, in the name of growing up, we start separating from our source and because of this , we start running into problems. We as adults then are trained to believe that part of growing up is to be able to take care of things ourselves. The farther away we separate from our source, the less likelihood of success in any endeavors in life that we choose. I have chosen to live my life with an understanding that I was created to succeed. We are all created to succeed. That is in our creed. This source that I allude to is pure love. There are no obstacles to how far we want to go except the obstacles or limitations we put on ourselves. "It is your attitude not you aptitude that determine your altitude." Zig Ziggler
Have faith that you will succeed. Because it is a guarantee. Extinguish any doubt. Fear and doubt are killers. Walk through life with unfractured faith. Regress to the days when you were a child and you had no worries but all your needs were taken care of by your parents. Remember that we are and always will be the children of our source which is pure love. Think of this source as a parent that only wants what is best for us and will give us anything we desire for the common good. Have genuine unfettered faith in your source and you will succeed in whatever it is you want to do in life. I leave you with a quote on point by Albert Einstein.
"Do not grow old, no matter how long you live. Never cease to stand like curious children before the great mystery into which we were born."
Just a thought
