JUDGMENT DAY
We have heard many times about our inevitable judgment day when our time on earth expires. Usually, this so called judgment day refers to the day we meet our creator in the afterlife for their approval on whether we are accepted into the kingdom of heaven. I am not a religious person, although, I was born and raised a Catholic. But, once I reached an age of reason, I read and researched profusely about this afterlife propaganda. Before I go on, I want the reader to know two important points about me; one, that even though, I am not a religious person and have not practiced in any organized religion for many years, I am a spiritual person. And, two, I am not against religion. Religion was just not for me. I write to share my opinions with the reader because I truly love opening minds to other possibilities. You see, I believe that people who close their minds are going against what we are here for, which is to learn, create and grow. No one in my opinions has all the answers. Whoever professes to know it all is dangerous for forward progress.
I believe, that this judgment day propaganda, is just that, propaganda. It was created to keep society under control. In essence, it was a mechanism to keep the have-nots from rebelling against the haves by promising them that they will get theirs in the afterlife. That the have-nots don't have to worry about the beautiful house or fancy car, or vacations, because, they will get it in the afterlife when they are judged and approved for admission into the kingdom of heaven. And, if you did not follow the above rules, then you will be eternally condemned to a sauna with some dude with a burning pitch fork, called the devil, poking you 24/7. Now, let me explain why I never subscribed to this way of thinking. I believe that god is all love. Not a god of any religion but an all inclusive, pure love god. Love and hate can never co-exist. If god is all love, he could never create hate, the devil or any kind of evil. We as humans have the free will to do as we please. We are all perfect. Created in god's image. Now, because we have free will, some make bad decisions. I believe that the more we separate from our god, or source, or universal powers, that, that is when we make bad decisions. I believe we all came from somewhere and we are all going somewhere when our time on earth expires. And, this place we are going to is back to our source, which is pure unconditional love.
There is no heaven or hell. There is only pure love. That is where we came from and where we are going back to. There is no such thing as judgment day to determine if we are going back to our source. It makes no sense to me that this pure love source or god or call it whatever you want, created you in his image and then refuses you to return to your source. If that were to happen then god is rejecting himself of which we are all a part of. I believe, we are all being judged but, by ourselves or individuals we come into contact with on a daily bases. It is human nature to compare ourselves to other people's success. I did it prior to being enlightened. You may look at your neighbor's house and feel unaccomplished if their house it bigger than yours. You make look a their fancy car and feel the same. Many individuals are constantly comparing themselves to the Jones'. That is where the true judgment comes into play. That is a living hell. Individuals are judging each other constantly on anything from their political affiliations, to the color of their skin, to their sexual orientation to their religious belief's etc...
There is no heaven or hell. There certainly is no judgment day. You are living your own heaven or hell. You are constantly living under a microscope called judgment day. The good thing about this is that once you understand this, your whole life will change for the better. The pressure will be completely released. You will understand that you are your personal commander in chief. You decide what life you want to live. This truth is seldom told. This truth will set you free! I hope you stop being harsh on yourself and start living the life that you are meant to live on earth. The only question I ask is this, do you want to live a happy, loving, healthy, abundant life or a miserable judgmental life? To me the answer is obvious! I leave you with the following poem on point.
"Living in peace"
"They speak of this moment when your soul finds peace. No anger, no doubt, they all have been released. I haven't moved, but everything has changed. When your heart feels peace, only beauty reins."
