INVEST
when I say invest, I am not really talking about investing money. I am referring to making a decision about your life. The question you will need to answer about your life is, do you want to be an investor or a spender. The way I see it, it comes down to two choices in life. you are either spending your time or you are investing your time. If you are surrounding yourself with people or habits that are not advancing your life in a positive direction, you are spending and wasting your precious time. This is a very definitive point in your life because it means disassociating with people, things, habits etc.. It may also mean breaking away from family members who are wasting your time. Many family members like parents and spouses are a significant reason why we don't find our bliss in life. They discourage us from dreaming big. I don't think it's intentional but rather they themselves are not enlightened. Not that they don't love us but rather, they don't want us to be disappointed if we fail. They don't understand that there really is no such thing as failure because even if things don't work out the way you planned them, the experience that you gained is invaluable. We therefore, want to use our time as investors. I'm not necessarily saying be selfish and ignore everyone and everything. What I'm saying is be aware of your associations and surroundings. Ask yourself a simple question when encountering a person or situation. How is this going to advance my life in a positive direction? If you are constantly worrying about relationships or things, then, that's a clue that something is not right. Stop, think and evaluate and you will make the right decision. You have the tools . Use them! I leave you with a quote on point by Stephen R. Covey. "The key is in not spending time, but in investing it."
