THE MIRROR
Many individuals look externally for answers. In doing so, we tend to judge. It's human nature. To me, it's a laborious journey. A total waste of time. It may, in the short time make you feel better, akin to having an alcoholic drink to suspend your reality for awhile. But in the end, you come back to yourself and you must ask what did that accomplish? In reality we have all the tools internally to succeed. but, most individuals don't believe it or just rather go externally for affirmation. You don't have to believe me. Just look around at the amount of shrinks that are in business or the amounts of drugs that are available for physical or mental health issues. We are all perfect!!!!! Yes, I'll say it again. We are all perfect!!! but, most of us don't know that because we were raised thinking we are flawed and we need continuing intervention whether it's from a physician, psychiatrist, phycologist, preacher, partner etc....We are the masters of our lives. It all starts with our thoughts. Therefore, start now thinking positive, productive, inspiring thoughts!! This is just a thought, from me to you! I leave you with a poem By Portia Nelson;
Chapter 1
I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk I fall in. I am lost. I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out.
Chapter2
I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the side walk. I pretend that I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in this same place again. But, it isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out.
Chapter 3
I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it is there. Still fall in. It's a habit. But, my eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately. Chapter 4
I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it.
Chapter 5
I walk down another street.
