ILLOGICAL
We all have an inherit power to live a life of our choosing. One thing that I am certain for sure is that regardless of our physical attributes, we all came from the same place and we're all going back to the same place. I believe our spiritual origins are from the universal. This is a foreign concept because we can't apply logic to prove or disprove it. Logic is reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity. Logic is universally filtered through our senses. As a lawyer when the issue of evidence is discussed, every case has either direct evidence, which supports the truth of an assertion directly-i.e., without need for any additional evidence or inference. This type of evidence can be DNA samples left at the scene, fingerprints, or blood. Another type of evidence that is common in the law setting is circumstantial evidence. This type of evidence is evidence that relies on an inference to connect it to a conclusion. An example of this type of evidence can be, seeing a disheveled person walking at 2:00 am on a deserted country road and a mile away was a vehicle that crashed into a tree. Although no one saw the person driving the vehicle, a logical inference can be made to connect that person to the crash. Now that I have given you a lesson in evidence, let me get to my point.
Most individuals rather have hard core proof of something in order to believe it. We need to verify whatever it is we want to believe through our senses. We apply logic and if it is not logical because we can't prove it through our senses, we tend to not believe it. This is how we have all learned concepts in school. We need logic through science and confirmation through our senses. Moreover, I believe that this way of learning is somewhat oppressive because there is a whole other dimension we are ignoring. At least for individuals that are enlightened. You see, as an enlightened person, there are things that logic can not explain. But, that doesn't mean it's not true or impossible. In the enlightened or spiritual realm, your faith is an integral factor. The way I see life, there has to be more than what we see with our eyes. There is a universal component to all of us. This is what I mean when I say we all came from the same place. I believe the more we evolve, the closer we get to our universal or spiritual component of who we really are. I surely do not believe we are our bodies, titles, race, gender, ethnicity etc.. I believe we are all spiritual beings. If you really think about it, we all have the same needs and wants. To go a bit deeper into our spirituality, ask yourself, what keeps you alive and your various organs functioning when you are asleep? This spirituality or universal mind or call it whatever you want is in all of us. No one can avoid it. It came with us free at birth. We all have the capability to access this universal mind for anything we desire. I'm sure you have heard or read stories of individuals with horrible diseases or on their death bed with advance ailments recover miraculously. Most individuals will call that a miracle. To me there is no such thing as a miracle. To me it is how life should be once you understand the power of the universe. In a book titled, "Love, Medicine and Miracles," Dr. Bernie S. Siegel wrote, "There are no incurable diseases, only incurable people." His point was that we have yet to tap into the power of the universe for self healing. Once we learn about this unlimited universal power within, we will understand that, "Getting well is easy. It's getting sick that takes years of dedicated hard work." -Dr. Richard Schulze
Just a thought.
