THE DOOR

I am sure we have all, at one time or another, heard of  individuals talking about opportunities in life and describing them as a "door opening."  I believe that many individuals do not succeed because they expect some thing external to happen in order to get that break that will propel them to success.  Maybe they're counting on luck or someone to open that door for them.  Most individuals are in this waiting mode.  Stuck in the mud with a rear wheel drive, two door mid size sedan.  Thinking that by just stepping on the accelerator they eventually will get out.  Or, slowly shifting their transmission numerous times from forward to reverse in the hopes that they will accumulate enough momentum to be freed from the grasp of the mud.  Or, if that doesn't work, hoping that a motorist with a huge pick-up truck  will come along and pull them out of their situation.  And, finally if none of that works, call for help on their cell phone.  Most individuals do not believe in themselves.  They don't understand that they alone have the tools within to turn the doorknob and open the door of opportunity as wide as they want with absolutely no restrictions.  However, opening the door of opportunity is the first step in the right direction.  The next step is to walk in with a concentrated focus on what it is, with clear purpose, that you want.  Most individuals just go along the road of life living in a rut.  They go through the same routines day in and day out.  They work so they can support their families or themselves.  They work in an unhappy job so they can pay the rent or a mortgage, utilities, food and taxes and get up the next day to repeat the routine.  In essence, they survive to be able to sustain a lifestyle until they die.  Some may get lucky and have a little time between work and death in purgatory!  I'm sorry, I meant retirement! Just a bit of humor.
The way I see it, the people who live in beautiful homes, who drive a vehicle of  their choosing, who go on vacations are people that for the most part when they walked through the door of opportunity, they went in with a clear focus - a vision of exactly what they wanted to accomplish; a clear picture of what it meant to them to be successful.  This is important because success is personal.  It is how you define it.  A fancy house, car and vacation may not be your definition of success.  You may want to rent in apartment on the beach somewhere and wear sandals and t-shirts and own an ice cream shop.  My point is that you have to be clear in your mind of exactly what it is you want.  To me success is a combination of things.  It is living a balanced lifestyle.  Hence the title of my website and my book, The Law of 4, where I encourage the reader to look at life metaphorically as a vehicle.  I make the analogy that like a vehicle that needs 4 tires to run, so does with life.  We need 4 pillars to live successful.  Those 4 pillars are, health, wealth, love and gratitude.  You need money to experience all that life has to offer but, not a the expense of your health.  You need your health so you can make money and enjoy your life.  You also need love because that opens up the channels to receive and you have to be grateful for all you have because without appreciation things can get pretty rough.
I will let you in on a little secret.  Well, it shouldn't be a secret because it has been available since the beginning of life on earth but it isn't taught in schools.  You have to find it on your own; however, I promise you it is out there.  I found it so can you.  It is, that you are all powerful.  You are connected through your mind to a bigger universal mind that will bring to you all your desires if you have faith.  Every significant invention that has been created has come about from this universal mind.  Trickling down to individuals who used their minds to visualize exactly what they wanted to create.  The way I can describe this power is like a water drop from the ocean.  A single water drop has all the elements of the water in the ocean but unless it can re-connect to the ocean it is powerless.  If you put that single powerless water drop back in the ocean it connects to its source and all the power of the ocean is at its disposal.  The mind operates the same way.  Once you understand that you can connect at will to the universal mind then nothing is impossible.  The complete power of the universal mind is at your disposal.  Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, the pioneers of yesteryear Ford, Emerson, Rockefellers etc.., understood this.  So why can't you?  Please don't say its because you lack the education or any other means.  In fact, most of the aforementioned creators either had no school or dropped out.  Moreover,  most of them had limited beginnings.  However, they understood the power they had and with clear focus they became unstoppable.  WE ALL HAVE THAT SAME POWER! Let us start using it.  I leave you with a poem on point titled, "Two Doors."
"There are two doors, the first door is leading to an amazing life, and the second door is the one keeping you from getting to the first door."
