MIRACLES

A miracle for the average person is a surprising and welcomed event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws.  And, is therefore considered to be the work of a divine entity.  I don't believe in miracles.  I believe in the power of universal or natural law.  This universal law is what some call god.  Not a god of any religion but, an omnipotent and omnipresent force.  A pure love force.  It is impartial and every single person has access to this inalienable life force.  It is pure energy.  You can access this law at will but, the majority of individuals are clueless.  This ignorance  is simply because it was not taught.  If you are fortunate enough to understand this law, you will know that anything is possible in life.  I recently was distracted when I crossed the street in a bustling area after a dinner outing with my family and I missed a step as I was about to step onto the sidewalk.  I played organized football when I was younger and prior to being planted head first onto the pavement, it reminded me of my football playing days.   I looked like a linebacker running towards a running back with my shoulder and upper body parallel to the ground in a low crouched, 12 inches from the ground position, accelerating full speed ahead ready to tackle my opponent.  However, in this scenario, there were two older ladies in front of me looking at me with disgust like I am a weirdo and instead of hearing cheering fans, I hear my wife, 2 daughters, and mother-in-law yelling, Jay!! Like I meant to tackle two old ladies in the middle of an intersection.   After I rolled onto my butt, I notices that I lost about 2 inches of flesh from the tip of my left toe, (I was wearing sandals), and, an inch of flesh from my right knee, (I was wearing shorts).  As I sat on the pavement pondering my next move, my wife asked me how I was doing and I told her, that I broke my index finger on my right hand.  Now, there was a bench near by, that I managed to crawl to and all my family members were working on patching up my wounds.  It certainly helped that my mother-in-law is a retired nurse but I was adamant  that I broke my finger.  I remember I planted my right hand on the pavement to absorb the impact and my finger in question snapped back and I heard the break.  Immediately it started to swell and I could not clinch that finger with the rest of my hand into a fist.  The next morning my finger and knuckle were significantly swollen.  The pain was substantial and for those who know me, know that I am not a fan of pain.  My wife and daughters ended up getting me a splint which helped alleviate some of the pain of which I was very grateful for.  I then started practicing what I write and believe about to my core.  My faith and belief in the power of the mind and how everything that you can conceive in your mind you can materialize.  Moreover, I meditated and connected to the all potent universal powers for self healing and my broken finger was completely healed in 2 days.  Some may call this experience a miracle but as aforementioned I don't believe in miracles.  The way I see it, miracles are for the unenlightened.
I understand that most individuals who read this article may think this is all hog wash.  I get it.  Many years ago prior to my enlightenment I would think the same way.  In fact, if this incident would have happened to me 30 years prior, I would have ended up in some hospital preparing for surgery.  Please understand, I am not saying that if you suffer an injury  you should not have it examined by a doctor or medical professional. However, what I am saying is that we all have the power to heal ourselves whether it is a physical or mental ailment, if we believe in the power of the universe.  This power that I speak about and often write about is nothing more than energy.  We are not taught about this so therefore, most of us are foreign to this potent power which is available at will.  We are usually taught as adolescents that we need to look externally for healing or happiness.  But in reality we have to look no further than within ourselves for all our needs in life.  We are taught that our senses or what Stewart Wilde refers to as the collective consciousness is all that there really is. But this concept is flawed.  We are taught to look at reality through logic.  That is where I believe the problem lies because the universal laws of nature are beyond logic.  I believe that to evolve into the next phase of life, you have to reach what Abraham Maslow described as  metamotivation when he spoke about self-actualized individuals striving beyond the scope of their basic needs to reach their full potential.  I truly believe from my core that if you connect to your source or this energy that I allude to, you will realize  your unlimited potential and your life will change and be a reflection of this omnipotent power.  Your thoughts will shape your energy which in turn will shape your external life.  If you can imagine it in your mind, with true belief and conviction, universal law will deliver.  "There is something infantile in the presumption that somebody else has a responsibility to give your life meaning and point...  The truly adult view, by contrast, is that our life is as meaningful, as full and as wonderful as we choose to make it."   Richard Dawkins
