A ROSE
A rose gives you everything it has. It doesn't ask for anything in return. It gives you its beautiful colors. It gives you its gentle scents. It gives you its life. The colors and scents are for the consciousness of everyone who cares to pay attention. For the eyes and the sense of smell to enjoy. A rose will stimulates my soul in ways that are subtle. Roses inspire feelings of love. Love is a deep emotion that connects an individual to their inner, "I Am I," pure unconditional love. I describe this feeling as a bone chilling, goose bumps activating energy. I can only compare it, to when my daughters, Sophia and Haanel were born.
Once a rose fulfills its duty on earth it dies, only to return when the conditions are right. However, the love that it activated is unconditional and it remains infinitely. Regardless of how harsh a winter is on a rose bush, it will return to continue to fulfill its duties. The ancient Greeks and Romans associated roses with Aphrodite and Venus, goddess of love. A rose conveys messages without words.
Roses have thorns which represent the pain or hidden hurt in the beauty but, true unconditional love comes with pain for the uninspired. You see, the inspired understands that true unconditional love is a symbol of freedom. It encourages giving without any expectation of receiving. At times it can be a bit disheartening. It can also be hurtful, unappreciated and a feeling that you are being taken for granted. I get it, it is not easy when you feel that you are being taken for granted. But, akin to a rose, which will die, and come back, you are programed to give unconditionally as a symbol of your true loving nature. I have always found so much joy in giving as a symbol of my unconditional love. I leave you with the lyrics to the song, "The Rose."
"Some say love, it is a river, that drowns the tender reed. Some say love, it is a razor, that leaves your soul to bleed. Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need. I say love, it is a flower, and you, its only seed. It's the heart afraid of breaking, that never learns to dance. It's the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance. It's the one who won't be taken, who can not seem to give. And, the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live. When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long. And, you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong. Just remember in the winter, far beneath the bitter snow. Lies the seed, that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the rose."
Be that rose and you will have fulfilled you duties on earth.
Just a thought.
