FAITH

Those who know me know that I am not a religious person.  I was indoctrinated into the Catholic  religion when I was a youngster because that was my parent's religion.  As I got older and had many  questions about who I am and what am I doing here, questions that could not be answered by my parents or their religion, I quickly decided that religion was not for me.  I learned at a very young age that I had the answers to all my questions within.  So, I have not been part of any organized religion for the majority of my adult life.  However, I do believe in god and I am a spiritual person.  My view of god is a general omnipotent, loving, god force.  An all inclusive universal force that is within each and everyone of us.  No one is excluded.  Not an external god that most, if not all religions believe in.  This is my belief and therefore, my intention is not to offend anyone regarding their religious belief's or  to indoctrinate anyone into my belief's.  The way I see it, religion needs spirituality; however, the flip side is not true.  Spirituality does not need religion.  These are my opinions and I encourage all readers to do their own research.  So, I was thinking about the topic of faith from the prism that whether you are a religious person, a spiritual person, or a person who just doesn't believe in anything, we all have faith in common.  Usually when the topic of faith is discussed, it is in the context of  a strong belief in god or in the doctrines of religions, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.  However, faith can also be a complete trust or confidence in someone or something.  This article is geared mostly at the ladder view of faith.
If you think about it, we all have faith.  Every single one of us has faith.  When you drive your car from point A to point B, you have faith that you will get there safely.  You don't question it.  You just know.  You don't have any specific knowledge.  You just know it to be true.  That's faith.  When you go to sleep at night, you have faith that you will wake up in the morning.  You have no proof of that, you just believe it to be true.  That's faith.  When you go to work, you believe that you will get paid for your work.  You have no scientific proof of this, you just believe it to be true.  That's faith.  When you work out, eat healthy and live a balanced life, you believe that you will live a healthy prolonged life.  You do not have proof of this but, you just believe it to be true.  That's faith.  When you program your GPS in your vehicle, you believe it will take you to your destination.  You have no direct evidence of this but, you just believe it to be true.  That's faith.  When you fly in a plane, which should be the way most individuals fly, sarcastic humor, you believe that the pilot is competent, the plane is safe and you will get to your destination.  In fact, you believe it so much that you will bet your life on it.  That's faith.  I hope you get my point.  We all have faith.  The laws of nature operate based on faith.  Your mind is very suggestive.  I have never in my life had a flu shot and I have never been ill.  Yes sometimes I may feel slightly under the weather but, nothing that was not cured in a few hours or a day or two.  This isn't because I have super natural powers but, rather because I have learned to use the power of the mind to my advantage.  Since I have always been involved in physical activity from organized sports, in my colligate days, to present work out regimens, I have had an occasional injury but, I can honestly tell you that when I have applied faith in the healing power of my mind, it has never failed me.  Faith is a crucial component to activate the unlimited  power of the mind.  We all have it but, most individuals don't believe it.  I encourage the reader to try using this inherit power.  What do you have to lose?  I leave you with a quote on point.  "Future medicine will be the medicine of frequencies."
