COMFORT
I believe that most individual's ambition in life is to be comfortable. Who wouldn't? Who would not want a good secure income that covers all the bills, a good family, a house, a retirement, and their loved ones at their death bed? I sincerely believe that if all the aforementioned conditions were met, that a significant amount of the world population would sign up for it. In fact, that is exactly what most people strive for their entire life. But, not me! I am not judging the super majority of the population that chose that type of lifestyle. That is how they have been conditioned from early on. Now, many will tell you they want more but I'm not so sure they really mean it. You see, lip service without works is just that, lip service. The lifestyle that, most individuals were taught to live from a very young age is what was imbedded into out minds. As I have written in the past and will continue to, whatever we hold in our minds for a prolonged period of time will eventually materialize and manifest into your life. Our thoughts, positive or negative, are very powerful. We all have these powers through our thoughts but, with a few exceptions, institutional powers would rather you not believe that. They rather you continue to live your comfortable life, because they are the beneficiaries.
I was not born into this world just to exist. To live a life just to "exist," is no different than my dogs. But, my dogs have a legitimate excuse for just existing. As far as I can tell, they do not possess the ability to think and logically make decisions. But, they truly live a comfortable life! Think about it for a moment. I provide for all their medical needs, food and shelter. I take them for walks to the park and love them. That is truly a wonderful life - for a dog! Individual's that just live to exist, in my opinion, are not much different. I write, not to offend anyone, but to open the readers mind. It is my attempt to coach individuals into a positive, loving, fulfilled life. This is my contribution and legacy to society. I do not get paid for this. It isn't always about getting paid. I am fortunate and grateful that I have this desire to write and coach others towards a better life. For me, it is a calling like no other. Now, back to man's best friend for a moment. We are not here at this time in history to be like dogs or, "successful individual's best friends." We are here to be the best that we can be. To succeed in any endeavor we chose.
I believe we are "all" created in god's image and, we are all endowed with the seeds to succeed. In everyone of us we have this power, regardless of our past, education, or our environment. I believe that living comfortable makes it possible for the seeds of success never to blossom. If you want to live a life of playing it safe, don't judge or complain when others are living it up. You and only you made the choice to play it safe. From a spiritual perspective, those who are in the, "playing it safe or comfort zone," lifestyle are part of the super majority who believe that their lives depend on things beyond their control. I am not a control freak but, with one exception. I absolutely believe that I have total control of my life and how I chose to live. This isn't just me. I do not possess anything different than what we all possess. We all have this power! I encourage all to use these natural, god given powers to get out of our comfortable life and live, and be, where our true desires take us. For those religious minded person's this is true, "heaven on earth." I leave you with a poem on point.
"An amazing thing happens when you get honest with yourself and start doing what you love, what makes you happy. You stop wishing for the weekend. You stop merely looking forward to special events. You begin to live in each moment and you start feeling like a human being. You just ride the wave that is life, with this feeling of contentment and joy. You move fluidly, steadily, calm and grateful. A veil is lifted, and a whole new perspective is born."
